Caltrain reaches 'top speed up to 80 miles per hour!' and takes me from San Jose Diridon to San Francisco 4th in 59 minutes. It makes five stops, so let's take off 10 minutes. So 49 minutes for 49 miles, that is ... 60 miles per hour. Whoa! Hold on to your pants!
Imagine the ICE making that trip in.... 16 minutes. No stops, though.
And no Internet either, Wimax trial ended, cost is $15 return trip. At least my bike is free.
