LIVE FROM BAGDAD!!!!!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/worldhaveyoursay/ is a cool show we like listening to. So this morning Donna and I went down to Bagdad Cafe when it was broadcasted today.
Donna is an experienced radio guest with the BBC as she has proven in her past on BBC2. Today I got even with her with my first ever appearance on the BBC's World Service.
After we got comfortable and looked forward to listening to the show, I suddenly then had a cramp in my right arm and stretched my arm out when they asked for a volunteer. So I was picked! They asked me to select and then read some of the listeners emails and text messages. For a split second I thought of giving an impromptu The Fawlty Towers Germans performance ('don't mention the war!!!!'), but I decided otherwise and tried the best I could. It will scroll off their homepage, so I am linking the broadcast here.
Luckily, Donna helped me in making a good selection on what to read to, maybe a couple million listeners?
This was an interesting experience and we might make a podcast out of it ;-)
